Nomi AI Pricing: Cost Per Month and Credits

Nomi AI costs $15.99 a month on the Standard plan, $39.99 a quarter or $99.99 a year, and there is a cheaper Launch plan at $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. Credit packs are sold separately, from $4.99 for 40 credits up to $99.99 for 1,800. None of those numbers appear anywhere on nomi.ai. The only place Nomi publishes its prices is the app stores, and its own terms describe billing your credit card directly, which means the answer to "who do I cancel with" depends on where you signed up.

That gap is the reason this article exists. On September 16, 2026 we went looking for a Nomi pricing page and there isn't one. The site's footer links to exactly two documents, the terms of service and the privacy policy. So the prices below come from the App Store listing for the Nomi app, the Google Play listing, and Nomi's Terms of Service with an effective date of January 16, 2026. Every figure has a source attached, because a price you cannot find before signing up is a price worth writing down.

How much does Nomi AI cost per month?

Fifteen ninety-nine a month for the Standard plan, if you pay month to month. Commit for longer and the effective rate drops: $39.99 billed quarterly works out to $13.33 a month, and $99.99 billed yearly works out to $8.33 a month, which is a little under half the monthly price.

There is also a second, cheaper subscription that most reviews of Nomi never mention: a Launch plan at $9.99 a month or $59.99 a year. It appears in the App Store's in-app purchase list alongside the Standard tiers. Nomi does not describe anywhere public what the Launch plan includes or whether it is still offered to new accounts, so treat it as something to look for at checkout rather than a plan you can count on.

Read the bottom row before the rest. Ten prices exist for this product and the company selling it publishes none of them on its own website. Google Play shows only a band, "$4.99 - $99.99 per item", which tells a buyer almost nothing. Apple's listing is the one place the actual plan names and figures are printed, and Apple only shows them because store policy requires it.

Does Nomi AI cost money to start?

No. Nomi's terms say the company provides "certain aspects of the Service for free, upgrades based on several fee-based options, and one-time add ons that can be acquired with the System's virtual credits following upgrade." You can create an account and talk to a Nomi without paying, within daily limits.

The free tier is a demo rather than a destination, which is normal in this category and fine as far as it goes. What is less normal is that you have to sign up before you can find out what leaving the free tier costs. On most products the pricing page is the second link in the navigation. Here the sequence is reversed: create the account, hit the limit, then discover the number.

What are Nomi credits and do you need them?

Credits are a separate consumable currency on top of the subscription, and Nomi's own terms describe them as paying for "one-time add ons that can be acquired with the System's virtual credits following upgrade." The phrase "following upgrade" is the part to notice. Credits are not an alternative to subscribing, they are something you buy after subscribing.

That is the structure that catches people out. A subscription plus a consumable wallet means your monthly cost is not the plan price, it is the plan price plus however many packs you bought that month. At the top of the range a single pack costs $99.99, which is the same as a full year of the Standard plan. Two of those in a year and the yearly plan you thought cost $99.99 actually cost $299.97.

Who actually charges you for Nomi, and who do you cancel with?

This is the question that matters most and it has two answers depending on where you signed up, which is why it is worth being careful.

Nomi's Terms of Service describe direct billing in plain terms: "We bill you through a secure online account. You agree to pay the Company for all upgrade charges at the prices then in effect, and you authorize us to charge your chosen credit card accordingly." The terms also say that to upgrade "you will have to provide payment (credit card) information." That is a web subscription, billed by Nomi, cancelled with Nomi.

But the prices are published as Apple in-app purchases, and the Android app is listed under the package identifier ai.nomi.twa. The "twa" there stands for Trusted Web Activity, which is the mechanism for wrapping an existing website in an Android app shell. So depending on which door you walked through, your subscription may sit with Apple, or it may sit with Nomi's own billing system. The practical consequence is concrete: an App Store subscription is cancelled in your Apple account settings and Apple has its own refund request process, while a subscription billed directly by Nomi is cancelled with Nomi and governed by the refund clause below.

Before you pay, check which one you are on. If the charge came from Apple it appears in Settings under your Apple account subscriptions. If it did not, it will only be in your Nomi account.

Can you get a refund from Nomi AI?

Not from Nomi, in most circumstances. The terms are explicit: "There are no refunds or credit for partial months of service, plan downgrades, or refunds for unused days in a period if you elect to close your account before the end of a subscription period."

Two further clauses are worth reading before committing to a yearly plan. Subscription periods "renew automatically" unless you cancel, and Nomi reserves the right to suspend or terminate an account "without advance notice and without refund" for terms violations. Nomi also notes it can "change the timing of our billing, particularly if a payment method has not settled successfully", and that you are charged "at the prices then in effect", which means the price can move between renewals.

None of that is unusual for a consumer subscription, and Nomi deserves credit for stating it clearly rather than burying it. It does mean the yearly plan at $99.99 is a genuine commitment rather than a discount you can back out of, so it is the right choice only once you already know you like the product.

What do the app stores say about Nomi?

Both listings are worth a look, because they disagree slightly and they are the closest thing to an independent record this product has. On the App Store, Nomi is published by AI GLIMPSE INC under the bundle identifier ai.nomi.app, rated 17+, first released on July 5, 2023, with roughly 2,800 ratings averaging about 4.6 stars. The listed version, 1.12.1, was released on March 31, 2026, which is nearly six months before we checked.

The Google Play listing for ai.nomi.twa is rated Mature 17+ with more than 100,000 downloads and the in-app purchase band of $4.99 to $99.99 per item. Its star rating reads differently from the App Store's, noticeably lower, but the listing page mixes in figures from the recommended-apps strip and we could not isolate a single unambiguous value, so we are not printing one. If a review quotes you a precise Play Store rating for Nomi, ask where they got it.

One thing both listings confirm: Nomi is 18 and over by its own terms, which state that if you "are not 18 years of age (or older)" you must stop using the service immediately. That is the right floor for a product of this kind and it matches what the stores enforce.

Is Nomi AI worth the money?

Nomi's strength is memory, and that is a fair thing to pay for. The product is built around a companion that holds context across a long relationship rather than resetting every session, and for people who want continuity that is the whole point. If that is what you are buying, the yearly plan at $8.33 a month is priced competitively against everything else in this market.

The weaknesses are the ones this article has been circling. You cannot see a price until you have an account. The subscription is not the whole cost, because credit packs sit on top of it. And the refund terms give you nothing back if you change your mind mid-period. Those are not reasons to avoid Nomi, but they are reasons to start monthly rather than yearly, spend one month finding out whether you actually use it, and only then commit.

If you do end up buying credit packs alongside a subscription, the practical annoyance is that your real annual spend stops matching the plan price and scatters across a dozen App Store receipt emails. The quickest way to get an honest total before an annual renewal is to pull the amounts out of those receipt emails and add up everything from the one seller. It is usually higher than people remember, and it is the number that should decide the renewal.

A simpler alternative if the pricing structure bothers you
