SpicyChat AI Subscription: Premium Pricing

A SpicyChat AI subscription costs $5.95, $19.95 or $29.95 a month since September 8, 2026, or $60, $199.95 and $299.95 a year, for the Get A Taste, True Supporter and I'm All In tiers. Those are increases of 19%, 33% and 20% on the prices most reviews still list. Existing subscribers keep their old price only while their plan stays active and unchanged: upgrading, downgrading, switching between monthly and annual, or letting a payment fail all move you to the new rate. Refunds are described three different ways across SpicyChat's own pages, and the strictest version says fees are non-refundable once you have logged in.

Every number here was read on September 17, 2026 from SpicyChat's own documentation, its live subscribe page, its Terms and Conditions updated July 23, 2026, and its Refund Policy dated July 31, 2024. We are a competitor, so treat our conclusions with the suspicion that deserves. The quotes are the vendor's.

How much does a SpicyChat subscription cost now?

SpicyChat published a "September 2026 Pricing Update FAQ" in its docs with a before-and-after table, and the live subscribe page confirmed the new figures were in force when we rendered it. The entry tier moved from $5.00 to $5.95 a month. The middle tier, which the page marks "Most Popular", moved from $14.95 to $19.95. The top tier moved from $24.95 to $29.95. Annual plans rose in step, and the page still advertises the annual discount as "Save 17%".

Source for the SpicyChat rows: the September 2026 Pricing Update FAQ at docs.spicychat.ai and the live spicychat.ai/subscribe page, both read September 17, 2026. The FAQ adds that "Euro pricing matches USD pricing" and lists separate GBP figures. Nothing about the tiers themselves changed: "This is purely a price change, every tier keeps exactly what it includes today."

If you are reading a review that says True Supporter is $14.95, it was written before September 8. As of the day we checked, the top ten results for this search still carried the old prices in their titles, which is the reason this article exists.

What does each SpicyChat tier include?

The subscribe page and the Premium Features documentation agree on most of the list. Get A Taste removes ads, adds the Memory Manager, raises context to 4K and allows 10 user personas. True Supporter raises context to 8K, adds Semantic Memory 2.0, longer replies (up to 300 tokens instead of 180), in-chat image generation, access to additional models and 50 personas. I'm All In adds text-to-speech, priority in the generation queue, image generation on private characters, generation settings, access to SpicyXL and 100 personas.

They disagree on one number. The documentation says I'm All In gives "16K Context Memory". The live subscribe page's comparison grid lists "32K Context (Memory)" for the same tier. One of those is out of date, and SpicyChat does not say which. If context length is the reason you are paying for the top tier, ask support for the current figure before you do.

Two paid features deserve a plain description because they are unusual. "Skip The Waiting Lines" is a paid feature on all three tiers, and "Priority Generation Queue" is reserved for I'm All In. In other words, part of what a SpicyChat subscription buys is a shorter wait for the free users' queue, and the top tier buys a place at the front of it. That is a fair thing to sell, and it is also a sign of how the free tier is meant to feel.

Will my SpicyChat price go up if I already subscribe?

Not by itself. The FAQ is direct: "If you have an active recurring subscription, no matter monthly or annual, it will keep renewing at the price you pay today, as long as you keep it active and don't change plans." The lock lasts "for as long as your subscription stays active and unchanged", and SpicyChat adds, to its credit, that it "won't promise forever" because model costs are unpredictable.

The conditions are where a subscriber can lose the old price without noticing. From the same FAQ, every one of these moves you to current pricing:

• "Upgrading to a higher tier"
• "Downgrading to a lower tier"
• "Switching from monthly to annual"
• "Switching from annual to monthly"
• Letting the subscription expire after a failed payment: "once a subscription has fully expired, we're unable to restore your old pricing"
• Paying by a method that does not renew automatically: "there's no price to lock in"

The downgrade rule is the one to read twice. A True Supporter subscriber at the old $14.95 who drops to Get A Taste to save money pays the new $5.95, and if they later come back up, they pay $19.95, not $14.95. "Once you've moved off your original plan, the old pricing is no longer available." The cheapest thing an existing subscriber can do is nothing.

The failed-payment rule matters for a different reason. SpicyChat says it will "automatically retry a few times before your subscription expires" and asks you to "contact support right away" if the card keeps failing. A card that expires in the wrong month is enough to reset your rate, so if you are holding a locked price, the renewal date is worth a calendar reminder.

Can I get a refund from SpicyChat?

SpicyChat answers this on three of its own pages, and the answers get stricter as you go. The Terms and Conditions, updated July 23, 2026, say: "If, for any reason, You are not completely satisfied with any good or service that we provide, don't hesitate to contact us and we will discuss any of the issues You are going through with our product." The subscribe page's FAQ says: "Refunds are available only under exceptional circumstances. Please refer to our Refund Policy for more details."

The Refund Policy itself, last updated July 31, 2024, says: "Fees are non-refundable once the Login details have been used on Portal. Non-use of a Membership or inability of User to access the Website through no fault of Spicychat.AI shall not be grounds for a refund of Fees. Company does not provide refunds or credits for any partial-month Membership periods." It also excludes payments made "in cryptocurrency and/or through payment provider Boosty", and notes that refunds through some providers, "including but not limited to Apple", are outside SpicyChat's control.

Read together, the working rule is that a refund is a request, not a right, and that the policy document that governs it is two years older than the terms that soften it. The terms also reserve the right "to change prices and billing methods, either immediately upon posting on our Website or App or by e-mail delivery to You", which is the clause the September increase was made under.

Is there a SpicyChat app, and can I subscribe through an app store?

Not on iOS, and not through Google Play for SpicyChat itself. SpicyChat's own iOS App Notice, dated August 27, 2025, states: "The SpicyChat iOS app has been removed from the App Store. Apple determined that the app does not comply with their guidelines." Subscriptions bought through that app stopped renewing, and the docs say those users "will need to re-subscribe on our website". The Mobile Apps page says an Android app exists as a direct APK download from spicychat.ai and "is not available on the Google Play Store", while iPhone users are told to add the website to their home screen.

That has a consequence for anyone searching the App Store. When we searched Apple's store on September 17, 2026, the results for "spicychat" included a listing titled "Spicychat AI: Roleplay Chat GF" from a seller called Chengdu Qizhixu Technology Co., Ltd, first released in November 2025. SpicyChat.AI is owned by NextDay AI Incorporated of Montreal, and its documentation says it has no native iOS app. A subscription bought in that listing is not a SpicyChat subscription, and we could not find any statement from SpicyChat about it either way.

The one store route SpicyChat does describe is indirect. Its SFW sister platform, PixelChat, is on Google Play, and the docs say that if you subscribe there, "your subscription will automatically apply to SpicyChat as well". That is the only way to put a SpicyChat plan on a store bill, and it means the store's refund rules apply to it rather than SpicyChat's.

Do I need to verify my age to use the paid tiers?

In a growing list of places, yes, and paying does not exempt you. SpicyChat's Age Verification page lists France, the UK, Italy, Australia and 26 US states, from Alabama to Wyoming, where a video selfie or an ID check through a third-party verifier is required before NSFW content is available. The consequence of not verifying is stated plainly: "You'll still be able to use the platform, but NSFW content will no longer be accessible until the verification is completed." If you live in one of those states and subscribe for the adult content, the subscription is only worth what the verification allows.

Is a SpicyChat subscription worth it after the increase?

For someone who already lives in its character library and wants images, voice and a large model menu, True Supporter at $19.95 is still competitive against similar platforms, and the annual lock on an existing plan is a genuine benefit that most rivals do not offer. SpicyChat also gives creators something back: its monthly leaderboard awards free I'm All In and True Supporter subscriptions to the top-ranked character creators, and it runs an affiliate program. If you promote it or build for it, those payouts and free months become one more irregular income line, and it is worth being able to track affiliate payouts alongside your other creator income rather than reconstructing them from emails at tax time.

It is a weaker deal for two buyers. The first is anyone who wants the top tier mainly for context length, because the vendor's two surfaces disagree on what that length is. The second is anyone who wants a simple monthly relationship: no queue to skip, no tier ladder where every step resets the price, and a refund policy that says one thing in one place.
