CrushOn AI Uncensored Claims and the CrushOn AI NSFW Rules Behind Them
If you searched for CrushOn AI uncensored, you are probably deciding whether to pay for it, and the marketing makes the answer look simple. The browser tab on crushon.ai reads "No Filter NSFW Character AI Chat" and the character catalog has a button labelled Unfiltered.

Short answer
CrushOn AI is marketed as uncensored, but its own contract says otherwise. The crushon.ai homepage title reads "No Filter NSFW Character AI Chat" and the catalog has an Unfiltered button, while the Terms of Use (September 22, 2026) say users will not "transmit, submit, or post material that is NSFW, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit", and the Community Guidelines list pornography under illegal activities. Content is reviewed by "human moderators and automated systems". Paying changes credits, models and memory, not the rules. Chats are used to train CrushOn's models, and there is no CrushOn app in either US store.
The contract is less simple. On October 13, 2026 we read CrushOn's Terms of Use (last modified September 22, 2026), its Community Guidelines, its privacy policy (last modified March 6, 2025), its pricing page with every plan card, and searched both US app stores. Below is what each one says about explicit content, filters, bans, training and money, quoted, and what to use instead if you want the rule and the marketing to say the same thing.
What makes it feel honest
CrushOn AI uncensored, the way it should feel
The rule matches the marketing
Explicit chat between consenting adults is allowed on every plan, and that sentence is the same in our terms, our FAQ and on this page. No homepage promise that the contract takes back.
No credit meter
One price, unlimited conversation on every plan. A long scene costs the same as a short one, and there is no add-on to buy for the better model.
Your chats are not sold or shared
We never sell or share your conversations and never use them to train advertising. You can export or delete them from your account at any time.

Is CrushOn AI uncensored?
In its marketing, yes. In its contract, no. The crushon.ai homepage title is "No Filter NSFW Character AI Chat", its description promises "genuine, unrestricted NSFW AI interactions", and the catalog lets you filter characters by Unfiltered. Many adults do get explicit roleplay out of it, which is why the reputation exists.
The Terms of Use say something else. In the section on User Submissions, you agree not to "transmit, submit, or post material that is NSFW, pornographic, or otherwise sexually explicit." The same terms define User Submissions as "feedback, notes, text, graphics, photos, videos, material, information, comments, messages" and more. Nothing in that definition carves out a private chat with a character. CrushOn does not say how it applies the clause to one-to-one roleplay, so we are not going to guess. What we can say is that the permission you are paying for is not written down anywhere CrushOn would be held to it.
What the CrushOn community guidelines say about NSFW
The guidelines open with the age rule, "Crushon is available only to users 18 and older", and then go further than the terms. The first rule, Illegal Activities, says: "Do not use the Crushon Service to engage in or promote illegal activities, including commercial sexual activity, trafficking, or pornography." Pornography sits in the same sentence as trafficking.
A separate rule on imagery reads: "Avoid depicting explicit sexual activity and stimulation. Implied sexual activity is permitted when contextually appropriate (medical, educational, fictional representation)." Profile content is held to a stricter standard still: avatars, names and bios may not contain "any sexual or explicit content". None of the guidelines uses the words uncensored or unfiltered.
We held other apps to the same test. Chai NSFW rules has four documents giving four answers, and Janitor AI NSFW filter covers what paying does and does not change there.
Does CrushOn AI have a filter?
CrushOn does not publish one, and it does not publish the absence of one either. What it does publish is the review process: "We use a combination of human moderators and automated systems to monitor and review Crushon accounts, characters, and interactions for content that may violate our Community Guidelines, our Terms of Use, or otherwise be harmful." Interactions are on that list, and so is the work of human moderators.
The Unfiltered button in the catalog filters which characters you see. It is not described anywhere as a setting that changes the rules for your chat. If a reply gets refused or a scene stalls, the documents give you no switch to flip and no list of what triggers it. The model also matters: CrushOn sells Free, Pro and Ultra model tiers, and how far each one goes is not set out on any page we could read.
Can you get banned on CrushOn AI for NSFW?
The terms allow it. They reserve the right to end access for several groups, including "users who violate our policies on adult nudity and sexual activity or any other Community Guideline." The guidelines add that when CrushOn becomes aware of a potential violation it "may review and take action, including limiting or terminating a user's access."
We found no published record of how often that happens to private chats, and we are not going to estimate it. The practical point is about money. The terms say "We do not offer partial refunds or credits for unused time, mid-cycle cancellations, or downgrades", and virtual items are "final and non-refundable except as expressly provided" or required by law. If an account is closed on an annual plan, the written terms give you no pro rata refund to point to.
What each CrushOn plan changes, and what it does not
Every CrushOn plan is a monthly allowance of message credits. Free models are unlimited on every tier, and better models spend credits. Monthly prices on October 13, 2026 were: Free with 100 credits, Standard $5.99 with 2,000, Premium $14.99 (shown against a struck-through $19.99) with 6,000, Luxe $39.99 with 20,000, Elite $89.99 with 55,000 and Imperial $199.99 with 125,000. Annual billing runs from $58.88 a year for Standard to $1,799.99 for Imperial, and the old Deluxe card now carries one word: Retired.
Unlimited use of the Pro models is not in any membership. It is a separate Chat Package at $39.99 a month or $299.99 a year, which "works alongside any membership". The plans also change the maximum reply length (225 characters on Free, up to 650 on Imperial) and memory (8K on Free, 16K or 24K models above it). No plan card says a word about content rules. Paying more buys longer, better-remembered replies under the same terms.
Every CrushOn tier, its annual price and its credit allowance is in CrushOn AI pricing. Ours are on the pricing page.
What happens to your CrushOn chat history
It depends on whether you are paying. The Free plan card says "Chat History will be deleted after 7 days of inactivity." Every paid card says "Chat History is kept during the Membership Period", and none says what happens after the membership ends. Each plan also caps the history a character can draw on, from 200 messages per character on Free to 1,500 on Imperial.
Training is a separate question, and the privacy policy answers it: "For all contents generated from the chat, we will only use such contents in a general way for training our models and we will not link chat contents to specific users." The policy is dated March 6, 2025, eighteen months before the current terms. Before you write anything personal into a roleplay, assume it can end up in a training set.
We compared training policies across the market in which AI chatbots do not train on your data, and looked at CrushOn on its own in is CrushOn AI safe.
Is there a CrushOn AI app?
Not one we could find. The Terms of Use describe "the Crushon mobile application for customers provided through Apple's App Store or the Google Play Marketplace", and include a section of Apple-required terms. On October 13, 2026, US searches of both stores for CrushOn returned no app published by CrushOn. They did return lookalikes from unrelated sellers with Crush in the name.
That matters for two reasons. If you install one of those lookalikes you are dealing with a different company and its own terms. And on the web you are billed directly, so you cancel inside your CrushOn account (the terms give the path as Profile, My Subscription, Manage, Cancel Subscription) rather than through Apple or Google, and their refund routes do not apply.
What CrushOn does better than we do
Choice and price of entry. CrushOn has a huge library of community characters, group chats, voice replies and custom voices, a free tier, and a $5.99 entry plan, which is cheaper than ours. Its pricing page is complete and readable without an account, its cancel path is written into the terms, and the September 2026 terms explicitly preserve any refund that consumer law requires. If you want to browse thousands of bots and you are fine with rules that may or may not be applied to you, CrushOn is a reasonable choice.
We are narrower on purpose. Depravity is one private, uncensored AI companion chat for adults. No character library and no image generation, but one rule for adult content, written once, the same on every plan, and conversations that never become training data.
Which option fits you
Pick by what you are actually trying to do.
- You want thousands of community characters and a cheap way in. Try CrushOn on its free tier first, and read the guidelines before you pay for a year.
- You want a big library where adult roleplay is permitted in the written rules. Compare Janitor AI and SpicyChat on our CrushOn AI alternative page.
- You want explicit images. CrushOn's guidelines tell you to avoid explicit sexual imagery and we do not generate images at all, so you need a different product.
- You want one private companion where the adult rule is in the contract, messages are unlimited and chats are never sold or shared. That is what Depravity is built for.
