A SmutGPT alternative is worth it if you are paying in dollars and reading the fine print. SmutGPT bills in euros only (Starter €7, Pro €21 and Elite €125 a month), gives every paid plan a daily token cap except Elite, makes all payments "final and non-refundable", and its FAQ says it has "no content restrictions" while its own terms list six banned categories. If you want explicit writing allowed in writing, a dollar price and no token meter, there are better fits.

We read SmutGPT's homepage, its pricing panel on both the monthly and annual setting, its FAQ, its Terms of Service and its privacy policy (both "Last updated: September 3, 2025") on October 13, 2026. How much does SmutGPT cost?

SmutGPT has a free tier with 9,000 tokens a day and three paid plans. Every price on the site is in euros. There is no dollar price anywhere, so a US card is charged in a foreign currency, and many US cards add a foreign transaction fee on top, often around 3%. Check your card before you pick the annual plan.

Two numbers on the pricing panel do not agree with each other. The billing switch carries a "-29%" badge, but every plan card says "Saving 17% annually", and the arithmetic backs the cards: twelve months of Starter at €7 is €84 against €70 a year, which is a 17% saving, and Pro and Elite work out the same. Nothing on the panel saves 29%. The annual Starter card also headlines "€5/month" above "Billed €70 annually", which is €5.83 a month. None of this is a large sum, but it is the first page you pay from, and it is worth reading the line that says what you will be charged rather than the badge.

"Unlimited chats per month" appears only on the Elite card. Starter and Pro are metered by tokens per day, and long explicit scenes are long. If you write in bursts, a daily cap bites harder than a monthly one, because a quiet Tuesday does not roll over into a busy Saturday.

Is SmutGPT really uncensored?

Not as its FAQ describes it. The FAQ answer to "Is SmutGPT really uncensored?" is: "Yes, SmutGPT has no content restrictions. You can write about any topic, theme, or genre without filters or limitations." The Terms of Service say otherwise. Under "Content Guidelines & Prohibited Content" they list six categories that are "strictly prohibited": minors, non-consensual activities, extreme violence, illegal activities, hate speech, and real, identifiable people without consent, and they warn that a violation "may result in immediate account suspension or termination."

To be clear, those are sensible rules. Ours draw nearly the same lines. The problem is the gap between the sales page and the contract. A writer who takes "no content restrictions" at face value and writes a non-consent scene, or fan fiction about a real celebrity, has broken the terms, and the terms are what decide whether the account survives. Read them before you pay, because the FAQ will not tell you where the edges are.

Can you get a refund from SmutGPT?

No. The terms say that "all payments are final and non-refundable. This includes subscriptions, credit purchases, and any other fees." Subscriptions renew automatically "unless cancelled before the renewal date", and cancelling "does not provide a refund for the current billing period", though you keep access until it ends. Credits are "non-transferable and non-refundable" and "may expire according to our credit policy". On the €1,250 Elite year, that is a large amount to commit with no way back, so try the free tier and a month of Starter first.

What SmutGPT does better than we do

It is built for writing, and we are not. SmutGPT gives you six named models with different prose styles, from short and direct to literary, plus an image maker and, on Pro, a video maker. It has a free tier and a cheaper entry plan than ours. Its pricing panel says purchases leave "No adult transaction in bank statement", it accepts cryptocurrency, and its terms let you use the output in commercial projects. On privacy it says plainly that it does not use your content to train its models, and its privacy policy says stories are kept until you delete them, with backups cleared within 90 days. If you are drafting a novel and want a choice of prose voices, SmutGPT is a reasonable tool.

Depravity is one uncensored AI companion chat for adults. You can write explicit scenes with it by conversation, and many people do, but there is no manuscript editor, no model menu and no image or video generation. What you get instead is a dollar price, no daily token cap on any plan, and an adult-content rule that says the same thing on the sales page as in the terms.
