FlowGPT NSFW and FlowGPT Alternative With Flat Pricing for Adults

FlowGPT's catalog has shelves labeled Dominant, Submissive, Lover and Jailbreak DAN, and a chat model its own wallet page describes as "infused with romance and a touch of spice". Its Terms of Service, on the other hand, forbid posting anything "obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive" and let anyone aged 13 or older open an account.

Short answer

FlowGPT hosts plenty of NSFW bots, but its own Terms of Service do not allow them. The terms forbid posting content that is "obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive", set the minimum age at 13, and let FlowGPT remove content or close an account "without notice, for any reason". The catalog still shows categories such as Dominant, Submissive and Jailbreak DAN to a logged-out visitor. Paying does not change the rules: Plus is $14.99 a month and Ultra $24.99, and the best model, Apollo, costs 15 Flux a message on every plan, about 15 cents at the pack price of $9.99 per 1,000 Flux. If you want adult roleplay that the platform's rules permit, with one flat bill and adults-only accounts, a product built for it is the cleaner choice. All figures were read on FlowGPT's own pages on October 7, 2026.

Both of those are true at once, and that gap is what you are paying into when you buy FlowGPT Plus or a Flux pack for adult roleplay. Below is what each FlowGPT document says, what the membership and the per-message meter really cost, and when a chat that is adults-only and allows explicit content in writing is the better buy.

What makes it feel honest

FlowGPT NSFW, the way it should feel

Allowed in our rules

FlowGPT's terms ban "pornographic" content while its catalog carries it. Here explicit chat between consenting adults is permitted in the rules themselves.

One flat bill

No Flux, no per-message price and no four-hour allowance. Every plan is unlimited chat, from $15 a month or $12 billed yearly.

Adults only

FlowGPT accepts accounts from age 13. Every account here is 18 and over, and the three hard lines are printed on every page.

Sources, read October 7, 2026: FlowGPT Terms of Service (flowgpt.com/terms, no date shown on the copy we read), FlowGPT Privacy Policy (flowgpt.com/privacy-policy, "Last updated November 09, 2022"), flowgpt.com/membership and flowgpt.com/flux in US dollars, and the category list a logged-out visitor sees on flowgpt.com. Janitor's prices were read on October 6, 2026; SpicyChat and Kindroid prices are as published on their own pages in September 2026. Per-message dollar figures are our arithmetic from the Flux pack prices, before first-purchase bonuses. Where FlowGPT is ahead of us, plainly: it has a free tier, a very large library of community bots and prompts for work, study and coding as well as roleplay, image bots, and a free model (Ares) that costs nothing per message. We sell none of those.

Does FlowGPT allow NSFW?

Adult man thinking over an AI platform's rules at home at night

In practice yes, in writing no. Section 3.2 of FlowGPT's Terms of Service says you agree not to "post, upload, or otherwise submit any User Content" that "is defamatory, obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive". There is no adult exception in the document, no mention of an NSFW setting and no clause that says explicit content between adults is permitted.

The product tells a different story. With no account at all, the FlowGPT home page offers category filters named Dominant, Submissive, Lover, Toxic and Jailbreak DAN, and the wallet page sells a chat model called Cupid as "an excellent roleplay model infused with romance and a touch of spice". A study posted to arXiv in January 2026 found 376 chatbots labeled NSFW when its authors searched the site on May 22, 2024, three quarters of them roleplay characters, and wrote that "while FlowGPT is not designed for sharing NSFW content, chatbots labeled as 'NSFW' hold a significant presence on the platform."

So the honest answer is that NSFW on FlowGPT is tolerated, not permitted. That matters once money is involved, because tolerance can be withdrawn without changing a word of the terms.

Is FlowGPT NSFW safe to rely on if the terms ban it?

The risk is not that FlowGPT is hostile to adult bots today. It is that everything you build or pay for sits under clauses written the other way. FlowGPT "reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to remove, restrict, or disable access to any User Content that violates these Terms or is otherwise objectionable". It "may, in its sole discretion, terminate or suspend your access to the Services, without notice, for any reason". And it "will not be liable to you or any third party for termination of your access".

Read together with the pornography clause, that means a bot you have spent weeks with, or a character you published, can be taken down for breaking a rule the catalog itself appears to ignore. Other companion platforms have tightened their adult rules overnight, and their users had no say in it.

Two more details are worth knowing. Anything you post is licensed to FlowGPT on a "perpetual, irrevocable, and fully sublicensable" basis. And the terms name no governing law, only "the laws of the jurisdiction where FlowGPT is located", with disputes sent to "binding arbitration under the rules of the applicable arbitration organization". The page promises a "Last Updated" date at the top; the copy we read shows none.

Platforms that tightened adult rules after the fact are covered in why Replika removed ERP and why Botify AI was removed from the App Store.

How old do you have to be to use FlowGPT?

Thirteen. The terms say "You must be at least 13 years old to use our Services", and that anyone between 13 and 18 may use FlowGPT "under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian". We found no age verification step described anywhere in FlowGPT's documents.

For an adult who wants explicit roleplay, that is a practical problem and not a moral one. A platform that admits 13 year olds has to be ready to restrict adult material quickly, and its terms already give it the wording to do so. FlowGPT does state "zero tolerance for any content that exploits or harms minors" and says it reports child sexual exploitation to NCMEC, which is the right rule and one we share.

How much does FlowGPT cost for roleplay?

Adult woman at a kitchen table in the evening with a laptop and a card, working out what a subscription really costs

FlowGPT charges twice: a membership, and Flux, its in-app currency spent per message. On the membership page, Basic is free, Plus is US $14.99 a month and Ultra is US $24.99. Plus includes 1,500 Flux a month, double memory space and a 5% bonus on Flux top-ups; Ultra includes 2,500 Flux, six times the memory space and a 10% bonus.

Flux packs on the wallet page run 200 for $1.99, 500 for $4.99, 1,000 for $9.99, 2,500 for $24.99, 5,000 for $49.99 and 10,000 for $99.99, with one-time first-purchase bonuses on some packs. That works out to almost exactly one cent per Flux at every size, so there is no bulk discount once the bonus is spent.

What a message costs depends on the model. Ares is free. Iris and Athena are 1 Flux a message. Hera, Zeus and Cupid are 5 Flux, about five cents. Apollo, which FlowGPT calls "the best model, guaranteed", is 15 Flux, about fifteen cents a message, and it is the one model not marked free for members. The 1,500 Flux that come with Plus buy 100 Apollo messages a month; Ultra's 2,500 buy 166.

Is FlowGPT Plus unlimited?

FlowGPT's own page gives two answers. The plan table lists "Unlimited chat with 5 models" as included in Plus and Ultra. The banner above it says "Plus Members: Enjoy a total of 25 free chats across all featured models every 4 hours" and "Ultra Members: Enjoy a total of 50 free chats across all featured models every 4 hours".

Both lines are on the same page on the same day, and we cannot tell you which one the product enforces. If the allowance is the real limit, Plus tops out at 150 member-free messages in 24 hours if you never sleep, and anything beyond a window is paid in Flux. Budget on the stricter reading until you have tested it on your own account, and note that we found no refund terms on the membership page, only that you "can cancel your subscription at any time".

Is FlowGPT private enough for adult chats?

FlowGPT's Privacy Policy is dated "Last updated November 09, 2022", which is before FlowGPT was a chat product. It lists the personal information collected as email addresses, usernames and passwords, says "We do not process sensitive information" and "We do not sell your personal data to external parties", and describes the service as a place to upload prompts and comments.

What it does not contain is any statement about your conversations: how long chats are stored, who can read them, or whether they are used to train or tune models. That is an absence, not an accusation. But if your chats are sexual, a policy that never mentions chats gives you nothing to hold the company to, and the terms separately allow FlowGPT to "preserve User Content and related information" for enforcement and legal reasons.

What deleting a chat actually removes on the big platforms is covered in does deleting AI chats actually delete them.

What FlowGPT does better than we do

Quite a lot. FlowGPT is free to start and has a model, Ares, that costs nothing per message. Its library is enormous and goes far past roleplay: prompts and bots for job hunting, coding, studying and marketing, plus image generators. Creators can publish bots and build a following, and there are bounties for doing it. If you enjoy browsing thousands of community characters and paying only when you want the premium model, FlowGPT gives you that and we do not.

We do one thing: private adult conversation with a companion who remembers you, open only to adults, with explicit content allowed in our own rules and one flat price. No library of public bots, no images, no free tier.

How Depravity works as a FlowGPT alternative

You pick a companion and start talking. There is no wallet to top up, no model price list to check before a long scene and no allowance that resets every four hours.

  • Allowed, in writing. Our rules permit explicit content between consenting adults, so the product and the terms say the same thing.
  • Flat price. Open is $15 a month or $12 billed yearly, with unlimited chat. A hundred Apollo messages on FlowGPT cost about the same as a month here.
  • Adults only. Every account is 18 and over. Three hard lines apply on every plan: nothing involving minors, nothing non-consensual, nothing illegal.
  • Private by default. Chats are encrypted, never sold, never shared and never used to train advertising, and you can export or delete them. We use automated and human review to enforce the three hard lines, and we say so.
  • A companion that remembers. The character keeps its voice and recalls names and history across sessions.

Plans and yearly prices are on pricing. For long scenes and character consistency, see our picks for the best AI for roleplay.

Which FlowGPT alternative should you pick?

It depends on what you use FlowGPT for. We would rather send you elsewhere than sell you the wrong thing.

  • You browse community bots for fun and rarely hit a paywall: stay on FlowGPT's free tier with Ares. Nothing here beats free.
  • You want a huge public character library with a flat subscription: Janitor at $12.99 a month is closer to FlowGPT than we are.
  • You want one long-term companion with deep memory and voice: Kindroid is strong at exactly that.
  • You want adult roleplay that the platform's own rules allow, adults-only accounts and no per-message meter: Depravity, from $12 a month billed yearly.

Good to know

Questions about your flowgpt nsfw

Not in its written rules. FlowGPT's Terms of Service forbid posting content that is "obscene, pornographic, vulgar, or offensive", with no adult exception. NSFW bots are widely available in the catalog anyway, under categories such as Dominant and Submissive, so adult content is tolerated on FlowGPT and can be removed at its sole discretion.
Less filtered than mainstream assistants, but not uncensored by policy. The catalog includes a Jailbreak DAN category and many adult roleplay bots, while the terms ban pornographic content and allow FlowGPT to remove anything "otherwise objectionable" and close accounts without notice. What you can do today is not something the rules promise you tomorrow.
FlowGPT Plus is US $14.99 a month and Ultra is US $24.99, read on flowgpt.com/membership on October 7, 2026. Plus includes 1,500 Flux a month and Ultra 2,500. Flux packs cost about one cent per Flux, from $1.99 for 200 to $99.99 for 10,000.
Flux is FlowGPT's in-app currency, spent per message on premium chat models. Ares is free, Iris and Athena cost 1 Flux a message, Hera, Zeus and Cupid cost 5, and Apollo costs 15, about fifteen cents at pack prices. Members get an allowance of free chats on five of those models.
The Basic plan is free and the Ares model costs nothing per message. Premium models are paid in Flux, and the membership plans at $14.99 and $24.99 add monthly Flux, more memory space and a free-chat allowance on five models. Apollo is paid per message on every plan.
It is a real, established platform, but its paperwork is thin for adult use. Accounts are open from age 13, the privacy policy is dated November 2022 and says nothing about how chats are stored or used, and the terms ban pornographic content while the catalog hosts it. Avoid sharing identifying details in chats there.
One whose rules allow it. Depravity is an uncensored AI chat for adults 18 and over, with explicit content permitted between consenting adults, a companion that remembers you and a flat price from $15 a month or $12 billed yearly. It has no free tier, no community bot library and no image generation; FlowGPT has all three.
Three, printed on every page: nothing involving minors, nothing involving non-consent, nothing illegal. Those do not move for any plan. Everything else between consenting adults is allowed, and there is no Flux, credit or message meter on any plan.
